Welcome to My Door Keeper ("App", "We", "Our", "Us"). By downloading, accessing, or using the My Door Keeper - Resident or My Door Keeper - Security app, you agree to be bound by the following Terms and Conditions ("Terms"). If you do not agree with these Terms, please do not use the App.

1. Acceptance of Terms

By using this App, you confirm that you are legally competent and authorized to enter into this agreement under applicable laws. If you are using the App on behalf of a society or community, you represent that you have the authority to bind such entity to these Terms.

2. App Usage

  • Residents can manage visitors, helpers, deliveries, complaints, society notices, and bill payments.
  • Security Guards can register visitors, verify entries with OTPs, track in/out logs, manage parcel deliveries, and update attendance.
  • Access to some features requires proper registration and authentication.

You agree not to misuse the app for unauthorized, illegal, or harmful purposes.

3. Account Registration

You must register using a valid phone number and secure your account with a password. You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials and for any activity under your account.

4. Data Privacy

Your privacy is important to us.

All personal data collected will be handled according to our Privacy Policy.

We do not sell, share, or misuse your personal information.

5. Subscription and Payments

  • Certain features are accessible only if your Society subscription is active.
  • If the subscription expires, access for residents, managers, and security guards will be temporarily suspended until renewal.
  • Bill payments made via the app are managed by residents and marked completed by admins after verification.

6. User Content

You are responsible for any content (visitor details, complaints, messages) you submit via the App. You must not submit false, misleading, abusive, or illegal content.

We reserve the right to remove any content that violates these Terms.

7. Visitor Management

  • Residents can approve or deny visitor access.
  • Security guards can only allow visitor entry after resident approval or via emergency protocols as set by the society.
  • The App is a management tool and does not guarantee physical safety.

8. Service Directories and Emergency Contacts

The App may provide information on service providers and emergency contacts.

We do not endorse or verify the authenticity of external service providers listed.

9. Termination of Access

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate your access to the App without notice if you violate these Terms or misuse the app.

10. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, My Door Keeper is not liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the App.

11. Modifications to Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. Continued use of the App after any changes means you accept the new Terms. We encourage you to review the Terms periodically.
